Scraper Blade

Look for a 6 blade. You may also want a stabilizer bar to stop it from swinging. Its just a straight bar hole on both ends and attaches to
one side of the plow and to a point under the fender. Im using a Ferguson blade for snow that I added an additional 14 to on either side so
a bit more than 8. Just to clear the width of my half tracks.

Front blade is a Deerborn 6 operates on cables to the lift arms. When I have the back blade on I can lock the front blade up for cleanup

I use a 6ft blade for snow on my TO35. The weaker Ford N-series tractors used 6ft. I think mine was sold for Ns originally.

I have a 7ft too (newer, better shape, not sure of the brand) but I'm selling that in the spring as it's more marketable than the one I use regularly.

I use an 8 footer on my early 9n so go with at least a 6' or 7'

I'd suggest the biggest, heaviest one you can pick up.

I bought a 7' blade that's rated for an 80 HP tractor. It does a good job, and adds a lot of weight to the back wheels.

I use 2 stabilizer bars on the blade so I don't bend one.

(quoted from post at 20:47:49 01/22/22) I'd suggest the biggest, heaviest one you can pick up....

If you must be delicate around anything like cars parked in the driveway or flower pots or fancy brickwork then go with a smaller six foot blade and pull your wheels in. You don't want to peel the bumper off the neighbor's Bentley when you do a favor cleaning out their driveway.

Remember the longer the blade sticks out the back of the tractor the larger the swing radius you've got to watch when turning. Wheels-in and a six foot blade at it's highest angle scrapes all the wheel tracks away. Tighten up the sway chains some for more control too.

If you can drive like sixty and blade the back country roads then get the big blade and put the wheels out for more stability.
