No travel pedals

Hi there.

The brakes on my 35 do brake ok but the pedals have very little travel and are hanging much and the brakes are squeaking when pedels are pressed. Almost like something is stuck and wont return the pedals and hold dem there. Do I have to take them apart or is there something else I can try before that?
 
When my MF 35 had the same signs and symptoms as yours....
I Installed new Shoes...and all is good...:)
I had a set of shoes from a different model of MF...drilled holes and installed..:)

I used my favorite SNAKE OIL...KROIL penetrating fluid on all brake components /shafts that pass through a casting or bushing..

And YES I replaced the @%%#$%^% Flat blade countersunk handwear that was original design to hold brake drums on...:)

Ok thank you. I see there is no return spring on the pedals. Et relies on the inside of the brake. Gues I have to look in to them.
