An update on the TO20,,,,,

Howdy Folks,,,, I am feeling like I may have finally got to where I been wanting to be for a long time with My Ferguson TO20. The tractor I picked up over the past weekend has an engine that is sure looking like a keeper!! The PO assured me the engine was in great running condition except for the bad oil leak out the rear main.
I finally got to where I could get a good close look up into the bottom of the sleeve web area and I am overjoyed as there is NOT any evidence of a crack in any of the webs between the cylinders,,,!!!! YEA, Yea, Yea,,,!!! In fact, the cooling system of engine was full of antifreeze when I removed the radiator and is very clean inside, more Yeas,,!!
As I reported earlier, I thought the rear main had shifted and there was an obvious misalignment of it to the block,,? The PO had removed the two rear main bolts (??) and the rear main itself had shifted inwards. I went ahead and removed the rear main so I can repack the two sides of the rear main to the block and I'll be ready to install the oil filter and close up the oil pan, hot wire the coil and put a spark in it to hear it run, before I bolt the two halves together,,,,,wish me luck, fellows,,,!!!!

How does one get to talk to CS when trying to order pARTS??? I called this afternoon and got put on "HOLD" for 25 minutes!! I hung up figuring they forgot me and tried again bout an hour later,,got put on HOLD again and after 12 minutes I hung up again.
anybody got some kind words,,,,,,?

Hi Buggyboy, You are not alone with trying reach these people by telephone. "All our agents are busy" translates to ONE agent I think. Can you find the parts you need in the parts search?

HI Jim,,well, I finally managed to get hooked up with the one parts person (LOL) and she was quite friendly,,!! I didn't tell her what I thought, tho) I called EARLY this morning and only had to wait for 27 minutes. Got what I needed except for the spring under the oil filter as it is missing in action from when I picked up the tractor,,,WAY Over yonder,!! I'm sure hoping I can fanagle one from a member that has an extra. as I read some where that you should replace the spring every oil change,,,,,"every change???" Many THANKS for your help and concern, Jim.

Well,,I ain't having any luck finding a drawing on the necessary parts for the oil filter, screen, housing, spring for the TO20. The download I got from here does not show a "spring"under the filter as described in the shop manual I downloaded,,,??
All I have is a Can, and a screen,,,,
Can anybody help on this,,??
