Ferguson to30 water pump

My to30 water pump is showing a little play, so I thought Id be pro active and order a new one plus a gasket. Anyhow I ordered one from fleabay and gasket came with. The new one looks right and gasket fits, but it has two holes on the side that fits towards the tractor and then an elongated hole on the outside bottom part of the housing. Are these weep holes?

I didn't design it or build it and my crystal ball needs batteries that your haven't sent to me yet.
You send those batteries and I can give you a better answer.
How about pouring water into those holes and see if it comes out where you don't desire?

Yes, likely weep holes.

Aftermarket casting, a close but should be functional knock-off.

As long as the holes are on the outside of the seal area they will not matter.

Ill see if I can get some photos, Ive seen weep holes before on auto water pumps but these are pretty large..
