TO20 pto oil leak

Oil is leaking around PTO shaft. Is this an 'O' ring issue ? seal? or worse ?

This is from the IT service manual. 110a has the procedure. You will need to press the retainer off so the bearing and seal can be refreshed. The parts are here on the parts webpage also there is the conversion pto assembly which brings the size up to 1-3/8 spline so you dont have to use an adapter.

I replaced the seal on my TO-20, then did my dads about a year ago. After I pulled the 4 cap screws holding the shaft in, I had to pry it out starting with a sharp paint scraper and working up in size. That thing was tight. I also seem to remember the new seal looks completely different. I dont have a press so I hammered things in and out with a brass bar to avoid damage. Both were leaking bad and now not leaking. About a 2 hour job.
