One end has a race with the corresponding roller bearing on a shaft that connects into the trans. Do I need to remove the trans to get at the bearing? Can't get any of my pullers on it. 1954 TO30

Second last pic right of #16 is the roller bearing.

Following part #'s for those interested are derived from the race I found in the TO30 with the name Bower and the number 25820. The parts dept came up with SKF race BR 25820 and the roller bearing SKF BR 25877.

I picked up the race today and entered the part numbers into my log. To my surprise the SKF product I bought is not made in the US.
