Finally finished the rebuild yesterday and it started first try. Have a small leak at the water pump that needs fixing though.

I just wish I had noticed it before filling each with 35 gallons of windshield washer fluid! I must have been distracted that day.

Good question. It was like that when my Uncle
bought it many, many years ago. It was obviously
fully disassembled because there wasnt a spot of
grey on any of it when I took it apart. Serial # had
been scratched off way before he got it so who
knows!
