I have a TO35 that has a busted lift
cylinder. Part number for it is
180967m1. It's a 2.5" cylinder. Does
anyone know if I can use a later model
cylinder for this tractor ? It's a 3"
and instead of studs going through with a
nut this one is tapped and uses 9/16
instead of 1/2 bolts. I found specs
online on the bolt pattern and it seems
the same as what I have . Part number
for later 3" cylinder is 184442m1. From
what I've read I think I can use this
cylinder as a replacement but will need
to open holes up on top plate and
obviously get a new piston. Can
anyone confirm if this idea will work ?
Finding anyone with the cylinder I need
in stock is proving to be impossible so
far.
