Hi All, The large screw underneath the tractor, forward of the diff, is that one of the drain plugs? The hydraulic
area? Theres a substantial oil leak there, is it ok to remove that bolt and drain and seal up? Or is there
hydraulic components up in there to fall out? Look forward to advice. Grey.

There are 3 bungs to undo to drain the back end and gear box . It's all the same connected chamber so be prepared for gallons of oil water and crap to fall out .
Drain when hot if you can .
When filling be extra careful to fill sloww w ly . It takes ages for the oil to pass through small holes into the back . If you over fill oil can get past old axle seals and ruin the brakes . It's easier to take off the oil dip stick plate and put half the oil directly in through there . Leave the plate off and fill the other half via the gear box . Let it balance out over two hours , any extra will come out the plate hole . Once level replace the plate .
