I heard tell. . .somewhere. . .If you put too much weight on the smaller machines, you can break things. Those pie weights say on a to-20 or 30 might break things. I don't know if your going to have problems or not. I would think not, and hopefully your not the first to put pie weights on a '35.
I have a set of those on a Demonstrator that will find their way onto an 801D.

It's smarter to put the weight on the wheels. Too many people fill a drum with cement and put it on the three point, which puts a lot of pressure on the hydraulic cylinder seal (especially bouncing over bumps in the soil) and puts unnecessary weight on the rear bearings. A loaded 13.6x28 could weigh over 450 lbs with calcium. Those pie weights are either the 32 or 45 lb weights (2 versions were available). If they are 45's then you're at 540lbs. 'close enough to a calcium tire. Like most things, it's how you use the tractor that will determine if you will break it.

Your weight segments look like they are the 30 lb segments, so you should be safe with your weights. You did good to find the special lug extenders for the Ferguson, they have 9/16 thread where the Ford has 5/8 thread. Ford did not recommend putting the 45 lb segments on the smaller 600 series Ford.

I do not believe the Ford 8N was using pie weights. I believe They were typically using the smaller weights on the axle trumpets under the fender mount bolts or the ring around the outer rim. You might be able to get away with what you have IF the tires are not filled.
Mind you, these are fleeting thoughts in a decaying mind. Your best bet might be an inquiry over on the 8N board.
I don't believe I will not be putting the pies on her TO-20 but I do have a set of 8N weights it will receive. Eventually. . . .
I might even toss on rear duals to for the entertainment factor .

I found those ferguson lugs at a closed ferguson dealer. Traded Steve them for a ford set he had a few years ago. He bought the light duty weights off me this week. As I told Steve I probably wouldn't have given them up if I didn't have two more sets. They are a lot handier to have around with PA rims and 24" rims and are good for 8n/600/601.

Have had on my 8n for years with no ill effects. Even bought a 2n with these pie weights on it. They are 200 lbs heavier then the light duty weights.

Kirk, can you adjust the wheels with the light segments on? I have an industrial heavy set on my power adjust wheels but would not be able to adjust them without removing weights.

You might get away with get a way with just removing the the ones that line up with the tracks. I even tried with a 15/16 socket figuring you could change the nuts. That socket will fit in between the rim and pies but when you slide it up to the track hump there's not enough room to get over it. So that was still no go
