Doing brakes seals bearings on te20. Ordered new shoes for te20 and they are to small. Anyone heard of 14 " brake drums on te20? Stieners catalog says they should be 11". Serial number on brass tag by steering wheel is TE 28394. Is this not a TE20? Any help will be appreciated Thanks Bill

Thanks for the reply. It is early 1948 because it only has 5 digit s.n. After searching internet looks like those shoes are no longer available. Might have to reline old one but Wondering if correct linings are available with correct holes drilled. Have not felt with Sparc but will check with them. Not sure how to post pictures yet as I am new to this site. Bill

A tag made from brass indicates an early tractor , later plates were of aluminium. You might have an industrial version or at least the back end of one . Photographs might help identify it .

Restoration Story: 1929 McCormick-Deering 10-20 - by Randal Simmon. On July 4th 1998 my dad and I was sitting on the front porch when he said that he was going to sell his two 10-20's to a junk man. He said that the junk man was going to give him $500 for both of them but he hadn't received the money for them yet. So I went into the house and wrote him a check for $500 and bought them myself and said now they are mine. He had bought them about five years before thinking that he was going to restore them himself. After five years sitting in the barn, he changed h
