Clutch on TO30 Won''t Release

To Bob, Steve, Bruce and any other gurus of antique Fergusons.
Today we took the cover plate off. A whole bunch of detritus came out including parts of a mouse! As I started the tractor a little more continued to come out, and also what looked like a piece of the friction plate. Still won't shift, though, when running. Our next attempt will be the start and jerk technique that several of you suggested. And after that, we may take the starter off to see if we can slide a thin blade between the clutch plate and disc.
We'd appreciate any comments or suggestions. Many thanks.

I concur.
Guide pins for re-assembly, leave the PTO engaged to turn the trans input shaft, if needed, upon re-assembly.
Kevlar clutch does not freeze to flywheel, is NOT oil resistant, does NOT like slippage.
Modern disc no longer has copper and zinc. More steel so it WILL freeze to flywheel unless blocked open.

To all those who kindly offered help with my TO30 Fergie and frozen clutch. AN update. Another attempt to free clutch by pulling with my truck failed again. We then shorted the tractor with it in forward gear and i was able to drive it around, up and down, and then into it's winter stall.
We decided with cold weather (was 18 degrees this morn) and snow soon, we will wait until spring to further work on the tractor. Next attempt will be to remove starter and try to get some kind of "shiv" in there to separate. Lastly, we'll split the tractor. The material that came out looked like part of the friction plate, but not sure. It's very thin. Thanks again for all the help. Talk next spring!
