MF35X Engine

Hi I've recently purchased a MF35X which has a cracked engine block.
Whilst I realise there are slight differences between the engine in a MF 35X (A3.152) and a MF135 (AD3.152) are the engine blocks the same/ interchangeable?

I'm not the one to give you a run down of all the differences between the two blocks...
However, I do own a 1963 MF 35 X.
If I should ever require an engine block, I would probably NOT use just the engine block that was produced as a AD3.152.
NUMBER of STUDS in blocks are only one of several differences, etc, etc, etc,

There are those individuals on "YT" that have had and still do have a career with MF Tractors that are the experts.

How bad is crack?
Can it be repaired by stitching?

Unfortunately I can not help you with your question, but I was wondering if you happened to find a source for a Massey Ferguson 35 engine. I am also looking for an engine, except in my case the previous owner scrapped the original engine
