No grease fitting on TO35 Steering gear/box....lubrication?

How do you licbricate the steering wheel gear box on te TO35 (1955)??? There is no grease fitting anywhere from the wheel to the gear box on the body and this thing is so stiff you can't really steer it.

I think they use gear oil. There is an adjustment on the left side I think a 3/8 screw with a 9/16 jam nut that adjusts the worm gear. It may be run in to far. If the adjustment is out to far the steering will have excessive play in it.

Ehhh....I see the adjustment screws on both sides, and I found a slotted screw under the battery tray.

The adjustment screws are so rusted away that there are no 'sides' on them any more and the screws themselves are broken. I may need to set up an ebay search for a new assembly?

The screw was backed out, but it broke off flush with the side plate on the gear box. The side plate is loose on the right side, which is the one I need to take out. Im going to remove the pitman arm, and then pull that plate. I don't know how the screww attaches to stuff inside, but it seems like it will just pull out and i can unscrew it from the inside and then drop a bolt or something in the hole?
