Is the pin for the work cylinder rod to the ram arm supposed to have some play with the hole in the rod?

I have not been able to find this exact part so I will to have to make one, there are 2 pins in the parts manual, but it is difficult to tell which one is which.
It looks as though I am looking for 3/8" diameter by 5" and I assuming that the rod should push on the ram arm before contacting the pin (the pin is just there to keep it from falling).

I have a MF-85 very similar to MF-65. I thought the hydraulic pump valves were clogged because the 3 point hitch arms were stuck in the air. When I took the lift cover off the work cylinder rod fell right out.

There was no pin holding the rod to the ram arm so it looks more likely to be the reason the the 3 point was stuck.
