TEA 20 spark plugs

I bet this question has been ask before but I cant find the answer on the forum.
I have just rebuilt my TEA 20 tractor to an 85 mm bore and I am having trouble getting it to run without a random miss firing of the engine.
Can somebody please tell me what spark plugs I should be using I was told to change from a shot reach plug to a longer reach plug and have been running a set of NGK B4ES. Should I be using a hotter or colder plug. The rest of the electric system has changed new disk leads etc also the Carbie has been rebuilt with new shaft etc.

Changing the reach of your plug runs the possibility of punching a hole in a piston. Pull your plugs. Are the electrodes bent?

No plants of room for longer plug just want to know what other TEA 20 owners are using for spark plugs

TEA 20 Ferguson tractors run well on NGK B6ES .
TED 20 tractors use BP6ES a projection long reach plug . Be very careful of using long reach plugs in the TEA head , there is no risk of hitting the piston top as the combustion chamber is huge , BUT if the long reach plug is used carbon builds up on the exposed threads overtime . When you go to change the plugs this carbon will make it very hard if not impossible to remove them.
By the same token if you use the short reach plugs from a TEA in the deeper head of a TED then the uncovered threads in the head will carbon up or erode . This makes it really difficult to fit the correct long reach ones afterwards. Either way using the wrong length plug will result in the head having to come off at some time or another .
A rough idle is often down to a blocked rocker cover vent valve . Paul it apart and make sure it's all there and not blocked up with carbon .

Engine coolant Thermostat 180 Deg F

My TEA-20 has to work hard... PTO work and it runs well.. as well as large Cultivator usually pulled by a MF 35 X and it runs excellent...

All original 6 Volt system...S # 182991

Pics of plugs.....possibly 200 hrs operating time..

The Champion plugs L86C fouled at less than 200 hrs operating time..
