Just replaced my generator on my 12V TEA 20 (positive ground, generator polarized). Ignition light went out as expected when throttled up. Voltage at battery gradually rose to about 14.3 V after about 5 minutes but did not run it longer for fear of overcharging and dummying regulator, generator, battery or all. What should the voltage be at the battery if the system is running correctly? How long should it run before I can determine that the regulator is working correctly and how do I tell? i.e. If it ran for 5 minutes without increasing above 14.4 volts can I assume that the regulator is working correctly. Thanks Ron
