Tractor not running smooth , cleaned plugs and set the gap . Ran lots better for about half an hour then started missing again . Shut engine off and after it quit running there was a loud pop like a back fire though the muffler . It's 1959 TO - 35 with the ---ZB - 134 Continental gas engine . ID . No. SHM -197273 . I'v used this tractor for 30 years and it's never done that before as far as the back fire . It came with Champion D23 spark plugs but i have tried using others but number 1 plug will oil up after about 8 hours so i have used the D23 for 30 years just because it runs better and won't oil up for a couple of weeks or longer . So is this ignition problem or fuel problem ? Thanks in advance for any help other wise i will just start going though every thing until i find it .
