I have a TO-30 and I have a question about the clutch and brake shaft bushings. I removed the old ones and after putting in the new ones do I grease or oil them? Or do they run dry like they are. After searching for a while and with the help of people on this site the part number for the brake shaft bushing is Sparex: S.41741 / 180801m1 and the clutch bushing Sparex: S.40740 / 184592m1. And the clutch bushing now requires 2 per side instead of one. The bushing is half the length so it takes 2 to make one.

I installed the new bushings and the clutch shaft. It is a nice snug fit with the new bushings. With that said are u supposed to ream the bushings down? When I push the clutch pedal down it does not return on its own. I can pull up slightly on the pedal and it will return but only by pulling upwards. does the engine rotation help push it back or is it supposed to be done by those 2 springs?
