TO-20 Hydraulic sudden failure

My '51 TO-20 hydraulics were working fine until I was driving up a bumpy hill with the carry-all in the top position. Suddenly the carry-all hit the ground. PTO is engaged and spinning. oil level is correct and clean. Before I tear into this, I was wondering if anyone has seen a sudden failure like this. Thanks in advance.

Seems the control valve is broken. The T-shaped piece that is in the saddle of the quadrant, popped out on one side. Does anyone have a picture of the stem that goes through the center of the T-piece. Not sure if that is supposed to be directly connected to the valve, or is just a guide to keep the spring in place, and spring tension is all that controls it. Sorry about the nomenclature.

Nevermind, I looked it up and found that I need to order a new control valve. Fortunately prices are reasonable. Should be back up and running early next week. I would have edited but that feature seems disabled.
