TO20 Oil leak

Any tips on how to stop oil leak at filter cover after changing oil?

I put RTV gasket on it...the blue stuff. Worked pretty well. Don't overtighten nut. I cracked my cover.

I once found the tube inside the cover (The bolt goes into) had come loose and hen the bottom cover would not seal.

I have two ferguson to20 tractors and I have used the rubber gaskets you can buy from different places I got mine from Steiners tractor
parts. They work okay if you put them on right, but I have done the second oil change since I have gotten the old girl running and the best
stuff it called Permatex Black magic gasket maker. You can get it from Napa but any auto parts store should have it. I put it on heavy and
never had a leak since.

Turned out that they gave me a filter that was a bit long, Got the right filter from Tractor supply. Used a good amount of gasket sealer since I can not get seal local. will have to be ordered, Solved problem. Thanks for the help.
