To20 fiber thrust washer

Trying to find out what a fiber trust washer is. This came in the kit. Is this what it is?

It also talks about one being for the camshaft to?

Never heard of fiber washer for the cam. Fiber washer under steering wheel collar, and I believe under the spindle arms at the top of the shoulder.

That is a felt seal. Not sure where it goes, maybe behind the front pulley, not sure.

But it is not a fiber washer.

It's there in your manual, figure 94.

The fiber washer controls the end play of the crankshaft. There is a brass washer in front. A rather involved procedure to get it right. It was a poor design, prone to fail, so if you are in the engine, it needs to be replaced. Problem is once it failed the crank would shift forward and grind the surface away where the washer runs. The crank would then need to come out and be repaired. I'm wanting to say there was a different main bearing that was made to remedy the problem, but I might be thinking of something else...

There is a brass thrust washer behind the cam gear, I think...
