To20 drain hole in block

There is a freeze plug in this hole when I pull it out will there be threads in it or will I have to rethread it

You're asking about the coolant drain plug?

Yes, it is threaded. The plug may be very difficult to get out if it's never been removed.

There will probably be a layer of sludge blocking the hole. It will need to be poked out with a stiff wire, and may clog again before it completely drains.

I don't recall there being any freeze plugs in that engine, but my memory could be faulty.
