TO 20 with Farmall Engine?

A friend says he just saw a Ferguson TO 20 and it had a Farmall engine. He thought it was a C or an H - overhead valve, painted red, magneto on the right side. He said it looked factory, not a farmer-fix. Any ideas? Did Harry do some experimenting with Farmall before he settled on the Continental Z120?

pretty sure it was a factory unit. as ferguson did have the overhead valves in those little tractors, not like the fords with a flathead.

My friend is very familiar with Farmall tractors, that's why he recognized the engine. We're both quite familiar with Ferguson tractors, as well as the "N" series of Fords. No Ferguson engine I've ever seen has a magneto on the right side. The Farmall does.

The Ferguson Baler engine has a magneto fitted . These were often fitted to tractors as a substitute .
Left or right from the drivers seat ?
