Above and slightly to the left of the started of my TEA20 there is a hole where a milky colored fluid is leaking out does anyone have an idea why that may be happening?

es that's it sorry my typing this week has gone to hell.... that is the hole.

You have water in transmission--rear end--hydraulic. Seals are bad in
transmission letting oil-water come out around output shaft. Then leaking
out the drain hole. If you don't replace seals be sure and drain oil and
refill with new oil.Water comes in around gear shift on top transmission.

so I have to ask. does the tea-20 NOT have the cotter pin weep hole ?

My TEA-20's have a weep hole........no cotter pin........

Bob....

Yes they do Steve , it's a case of them being filled with mud then painted over in most circumstances where they can't be seen .

As an aside , you can replace the cotter pin without having to split the tractor , it's a little fiddly but achievable .

Use a pin with a head just a little bigger than the hole and pull one leg of the pin with pliers while pushing the other with pliers all while forcing the head into the hole . Once in shove a screwdriver between the pin arms to jam it into place and bend them outwards.
All this conspires to widen the head and make it stay put .
I did this to my TED20 over ten years ago , the pin is still there .
