TO30 and shredder

Got a 4 foot cutter to use behind my HF TO30. What is the best way to level the cutter since these tractors don?t have position control? When lift is down my cutter angles downward and I?d like to get several inches of clearance to get over rocks which I have plenty in Texas ! Are most using stay chains to keep the TPH from lowering the front of the cutter all the way?

Stay chains work.

But you ask "What is the best way". In my opinion the best way is to add position control if you are a bit handy.

Here's a link.

If the link doesn't work, or you have more questions, ask away. Essentially the add on position control devices (there are others out there) just put an adjustable feedback mechanism between the lift arms and the quadrant lever. I have one on my TO30 and love it. Fully adjustable. Holds the lift just where I want it. Easily disabled if I want draft control while plowing.

Thanks. I?m looking for that now! I had ordered a Zane Thang
some time ago but he passed away days after I ordered it. His
son refunded me so I never got it. Didn?t realize there were
other devices

Bushings in the link pin holes, shackles, chains and more shackles at the bottom.
That is from a rough memory.
Keeps the strain off the hydraulics.
