I have a 1956 TO-36 serial 170185. I was having issues with the lift not working once the tractor warmed up. After taking it apart, we found a small scratch in the piston -- possibly from what was also found, water that had leaked into the case and turned the hydraulic/trans fluid milky and a bunch of gunk was in the bottom. It was drained, flushed and the piston replaced as well as a new seal for the PTO installed. When everything was put back together, the hydraulic arms no longer raise when the lever is moved. I have a feeling when we reinstalled it, we missed something with the lever mechanism, but I am unable to find anything that would help me online to resolve this issue. Can anyone on here help?
