sparkplug wire

I would read the instruction sheet closely, follow their recommendations.

From what I understand, standard point eliminator type conversions will work with wire wires.

The high performance, with a high output coil, require resistor wires.

If in doubt, go with the resistor wires. I like the spiral core type best.

With any ignition system, the proper voltage coil or coil/resistor combination must be used.

If that is electronic ign with a 12V coil, then you can run the new style wires. The old copper wires are good for a lot of static on the AM
radio especially and the old TV air waves. So if the neighbor doesn't have cable, every time you drive by, their TV reception might fuzz out.
Same with the AM radio.
You might get a bit hotter spark with copper wires.
