Ferguson Transmission.....
My experience is such that when a CLUTCH disc becomes worn (thinner) the operators may have to place more force on the gear shift to change gears.
Also, as more play becomes evident in the point where the Gear shift enters the KEY WAY of each individual shifter fork, a high degree of possibility occurs that the transmission can and will end up in two GEARS.
I’ve had two Fergusons to work on, both had FAILED SECOND GEAR shifter forks due to two much force applied to the gear shifter as the CLUTCH DISC was worn thin.
