Oil for 4 cyl gas Ferguson 35

What kind of oil should I use for this tractor? Also what is the capacity?

Since your engine is a flat tappet cam engine, a high zinc oil is desired. "Energy Conserving" is not desired as it washes off too quickly and will not leave a film behind for the next start-up when most engine wear occurs. That gets you into looking for a "Heavy Duty" oil. The fastest way to get there is what most people are using and that is the basic 15/40 Diesel oil. I usually run Chevron Delo. Others also use Shell Rotella.
