Ford 9n outer rims interchange with a TO30?

I have a chance to get a ford 9n with nearly brand new tires... I really don t need the tractor itself.. but want the new tires.. can I simply change out the outer rims from the 9n and the ferguson? My plan is to do just that ( if possible) and fix up the 9n, send it down the road and have basically free tires or at least offset the cost of the tires. [/i]
 
I plan on installing 28" Rims and Tires on my Ford 2-N in the next couple of days.....Rims are on a TO-30 Ferguson...

thanks guys... I m grabbing it up and switching the rims and then selling the 9n. I wonder if the Sherman step up/down granny would fit my ferguson?
 
Removed 28" Tire and Rim from Ford 2-N and installed 28" Tire and Rim from Ferguson (parts machine) onto the Ford 2-N...

3/4" Impact Gun...1 1/16" socket were required in the tool selection..

The Sherman will fit with modification to the case (minor, in my judgement) and to the top cover (a much more challenging mod) - search the forum, there are several threads that address this -
 
As long as the rims on both tractors are 28" 6 loop or hat rims they will fit your center disc. Earlier 9n had 32" rims. They will not fit will out building
an adapter plate. The sherman may or may not fit depending which one it is. Go to youtube and punch in sherman transmission and scroll down to one of my
videos to ID which one you have.
