My temp gauge works but getting faded out..have looked at several post which are not recent...mine screws into housing with no adapter..the ones shown show an adapter which is alot bigger.Ihave bought alot of parts for this tractor and hve had to send alot back, has anybody lately bought one that worked out..also i early on bought a new tach cable and since i went with an
alternator with tach drive..i need a cable about 4" longer.had the new one too long to send back mine now is 38 or 39" cable...sorry to ask but this site has been good on info for things i have had problems...life saver

Never seen one that screws in. All the same size and should fit unless
someone has cut the hole larger. If you have a cable just try and run
excess cable under dash etc. It can be a little long and still work
OK.You can read on cable info before ordering and it should tell length
if you do order new one. Several sites will have parts as this site
should have what you need.

Yes bulb end...i have never seen equipment, that i remember, that temp bulb end nut that don't have an adapter fitting for bulb nut.. this tractor screws into the thermostat housing ,usually a 1/2 pipe adapter is in the housing and bulb nut scews into that..in reading old post people were having problems with this...maybe they tried a universal gauge..i'll give it a shot..just eat the shipping..i found a 47" cable so that should work...thanks for all the input

pretty sure every temp gauge I bought for a Z-134 came with an adapter. the bulbs at the end are longer/thicker on some than others. two kinds of bulbs. one shaped like round nose bullet the other skinny. my memory fades with time but I think the skinny bulb is the one you need. no guarantees tho.

Water pump is leaking so i can pull the old one off and do some measuring with the coolant out...thanks all for the time of researching this....i went with ford jubilee oil pressure and amp gauges..the oil pressure is a range gauge and was able to get one in the 40 psi so it shows great when running with the z134 oil pressure...would like to change water temp to match..i know the bulb in it is very short

Luck is no better...got my water pump today..changed pulley...then found new one won't do on..turned it a hole where drain wouldn't be at bottom..tried to go...impeller is .009 ths smaller so.... i found the bolt holes were smaller than orginal..drilled the 3 holes out 1/64 under 7/16..helped but not enough.. just off center...anybody had this problem...bet i try the next one on block before chamging the pulley...i ordered a 830514m91 so it should have been right
