ferguson registration and date

hi folks can u help
i have what i think is a ferguson Ted20
however Ted20s were not made until 1951 i gather
my chasis number is 20100 suggesting 1947
its def a TVO, air intake not on dash
exhaust upright
engine transplant
can anyone explain please

Are you sure you don't have a TO 20? They started in 1948 with serial # 1,did you get your 3 from the tag on the dash? It would be a 1950 TO 20 which is more
likely than a TE 20.
