T030 hydraulics slow

The hydraulics on my T0 30 have started working slow. When I got it several years ago it had sat in a barn for 10 years and the lift would not work at all. Someone on this board told me how to unstick the valve inside but I don?t remember the process. I?m thinking the valve may not be fully opening! Any help would be appreciated.

It would not hurt to change the oil if it has been a few years. It has a tendency to accumulate moisture and that can be a problem. I use Shell Rotella 15w40 in the rear end, and yes I know the book calls for 90w mineral oil.
I am not very knowledgeable on the valve adjustment, will have to read up in the service manual.

if you live in a cold climate and use heavy oil that will slow up the process. is it slow when the machine is warmed up ?

Yes, it?s slow in 90 degree weather. First noticed it one spring after it sat for the winter making me think the valve is not fully opening.

Are there any other symptoms?

Slow and jerky is a pump problem, bad valves in the pump.

Slow and falls down as soon as the clutch is pushed or engine stopped is internal leakage, either the cylinder seals or pressure relief valve bypassing.
