Engine mount stripped

One step forward... Well I have finally finished my engine rebuild but I've hit a snag. One of the engine mounts has stripped. So my question is how important is this? Can I fill with JB Weld or do I need to remove engine and put in some type of helicoil?

Photo attached. Thanks, John

Any chance there are some threads left deeper in the hole?

If so, you can bottom out a stud with some Locktite, put a nut on the stud.

But as many blots as that has, one stripped won't make any difference.

If Steve's stud idea doesn't suit you it looks like the bolts are either 3/8 or 7/16,I would drill and tap it to the next size larger and call it good.I have tore
down several tractors that had just that done to them.

I had a 48 TE that had the same problem with 4 being stripped. I used thread repair inserts- not Heli-coil. I used the tractor for several years after that with no issues. A Heli-coil may very well be strong enough as well but I would not trust any epoxy to repair the threads.
