Serial Number ID

Hi,
I have a TO 35 diesel that we recently purchased, but the ID tag has been removed. Is there a way to track down the number on this tractor in another location? The engine Number is SJ88843E

That is the only place the serial number was put on these tractors. That is a Coventry, England engine so if you get hold of some of the UK groups they may be able to help you with the engine serial number. If you go to tractor shows look for tractors with your same engine and see how close you can get to your serial number, hopefully they will have a serial tag on their tractor. Of course with the Continental engines they did not keep them in numerical sequence, I do not know what the UK people did. Good luck!
