Have 2 TO 20s both converted to 12 v one is positive ground other negative. Can the positive be changed to negative by switching battery terminals / I have switched starters from 1 to the other when changing bendix & needed the other tractor starter turned the right way. Now for the reason want to convert to electronic ignition can only find 12 volt negative ground units. THANKS
 
The only other question that might arise is the charging system and the ignition coil. You might need to change polarity on both
of those also.
 
I'm assuming the positive ground tractor still has a generator.

If so, it will need to be polarized before starting. Just run a jumper wire from the A terminal of the generator to the positive battery post, touch the wire only long enough to get a spark.

The coil will need to be reversed, + terminal to the ignition switch, - to the distributor.

If it has an amp meter, the wires will need to be reversed for it to read properly.
