TO 35 HYDRAULIC PROBLEM

I'm working on a Ferguson TO35. I'm currently having a issue
with the hydraulic system and the 3pt. the owner complained
of the three point being slow to raise with a load on it. a
pressure check showed the pump was only making 1000-
12oo psi. the pump was worn out beyond specs so I replaced
the cam, cam blocks, and all new O-rings where required. I
now have 2000psi which is what is spec'd for that hydraulic
system. the problem I am having is that now when I start the
tractor regardless of the position of the draft or position control
the 3pt raises to the fully raised position and will not lower
while the tractor is running. I also made all of the other
necessary control linkage adjustments as per the service
manual. what could be the cause of this problem? I am
absolutely stumped.
any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

Open the right round cover, push the control lever off to the side of the roller, see if you can control the lift manually.

There is an adjustment nut down below the roller arm. Be very careful, don't reach down there with it running!

The adjustment is very sensitive, the arms from the control levers don't move very far. It may take several attempts to get it right.

What Steve said, adjustments are off somewhere. Most likely the pump rocker lever adjusting self locking nut. There are marks on the quadrant, best get the service manual out and follow the lift cover/pump synchronization adjustments.
