Does anyone knows which year models that have hydraulic filter FE/MF 35? I have a FE 35 year 1959

This 1963 MF FE 35 X has the Hydraulic strainer as per pictures:

This tractor was ordered new from England in 1963 as per my parents request:

Installed new Pump.....here are a couple of pictures:

most likely a dumb and way too nosy question but...why did your parents order from England ?

The short answer is that, back then, Canada did way more trade with England than we did with the US.

No filter in my '59. Mine has magnetic drain plugs.

is the left inspection port with the gear stick or the right with oil dip stick?"
