Ferguson 30

Help!!! Ferguson TO-30, Will crank and run fine for about 15-20 minutes then shut off. Very aggrivating.
Thought it was because it was getting hot so I repalced radiator, waterpump, thermostat, and temp guage.
So if anybody has any ideals please help. Got well over $1000.00 in this rebuild and looking for results.

am not trying to make you feel bad, but, the parts you listed would not fix the symptoms you describe.

To ad to what Bruce has suggested, the only other heat related cause might be vapor lock, especially if you have a copper fuel line, not steel, and it runs too close to the manifold.

After it quits in 20 min. does it start right up, or stay dead for a while?

ot making me feel bad at all....that was the starting point on the rebuild. I knew it need those things and didn't know for sure if that was the problem so started there...since my post have replaced the coil and it has been running for the last 52 minutes with no problem

Well on the positive side you now have a good cooling system and maybe a spare radiator. The other posts hit it absolutely correct. Running
for 10 or more minutes then quitting is almost always a fuel or ignition problem. Either a restricted fuel filter or vapor locked tank or a bad coil or
condenser.

Glad to hear it?s up and running now.

Hot Diggety! I got one right. Hope your not running a copper fuel line. They tend to vibrate and crack over time from what I have heard.
As for fuel filters, Your best bet is to stay with the OEM screen set up. An after market in-line filter may not allow fuel flow on a gravity
fed fuel system.
