Early TO35 hydraulic pump

I recently bought another early TO35 that has a broken lift pump. My question is, will a new/rebuilt pump available on this site fit. Or do I have to rebuild this one. Thanks

You need to know your tractors serial number and make sure it matches the pump. I have a 1955 and its serial number doesn't match their pump.

There were several different pumps depending on the serial number.

Not sure how interchangeable they were.

Once the pump is out it will be easier to match it up.

I would discourage trying to rebuild it your self unless you have access to a machine shop. I bought the rebuild kit, took many hours fitting the Chinese parts to the original pump. They were close, but had to do some surface grinding to get the clearances right so it would turn when reassembled.

My serial number is 173742 so it is an early one. I?m not keen on rebuilding, as, the price for the kit is nearly as much as a rebuilt pump.

The pump for sale on this site says for a TO-35, the serial number must be 179304 or higher.
