Hello All. I'm having an awful time keeping ahead of the fuel leaks on this filter setup. Is there such a thing as a replacement filter setup either with spin-on or CAV filter heads? Changed the copper rings a few times but no real improvement. I just turn off the fuel supply when it's not in use. Any and all suggestions much appreciated. Thanks
Re: Fe35 standard diesel. Leaky banjo fittings on fuel filters in reply to Davidj, 04-14-2018 10:36:42
I have a UK built FE35 with the standard 23 c diesel. I had a leak at the fuel filter. It was because replacement copper washers were thine than the original, the bolt was screwed in tight, but not enough to seal the washers. Due to the position, nothing felt loose. Once discovered, I put two washers on on side of the joint, Problem solved.
