Installing new headlights and rear work light and wondering where everyone runs the wires from the dash area to the lights with the hood opening and all unlike the fords. Thanks

You add enough slack in the harness between the axle support and the hood pivot bolt to allow the hood to open without straining the wires. Here's a link to another picture from the FENA site that may help. http://fergusontractors.org/nfs/electrical-and-lighting-diagrams/

I am electrician by trade so the schematic isn't an issue I was just wondering how everyone ran the wire so you could still open the hood. Thanks Jim

I just finished rewiring my 55 TO 35. The schematic was very helpful. I ran all my wire through asphalt coated loom to help protect the wire. To cold to go out today and get pictures but will send some tomorrow. Also look in operators manual for the TO 35 diagram of correct wiring of the ignition and push button starter switch and lights, etc

Check out this link. Written by Phill Fenner who passed away a couple of years ago, but was a wealth of knowledge on this subject. I have picked up the wire hold tabs from Steiner's and Dennis Carpenter. I have not seen them on this site.
