These are some of the loads of tractors I have hauled, either to the bridge for the crossing or around the country.

The strap is to keep the roof from blowing off as the plastic roof ages the plastic gets brittle. The older ones with like the 30,40,50,60 series will blow off with out age and they are as much as 35years old. Some times the hoods will unlatch and blow up also with the strut they use to hold them up with while working on them. The hoods are plastic on them . Usually it will only buff the paint some. I figure the hood is hundreds or thousands of dollars the paint can is ten dollars.

Here are just a couple of the many I have hauled over the years. That is the same trailer, it has just been redone and updated.

Curious as to why you have straps over the cabs and hood of those Deere tractors? They would mar the paint on a long haul.

These are both in August of this year. Every year for Pickneyville I haul some sort of load of tractors down there, never know for sure what will be on the trailer.
