I'm thinking about trying one of those electronic ignitions for a Farmall B. Has anyone tried one before? How easy to install?, Do they work good?

Thanks for feedback!

We have a C with a 6ft. Woods mower, it has a delco distributor, put on the Genesse elct.ign.Plus new coil cost 120.00 and mowed most of the summer it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. We changed it to 12 volt with a resistor and it always burned the points since we put it on I can't say enough good about it. We also put one on our 77 loader tractor starts much better runs great, lots of snow here in Waterloo Ia. I don't sell them, just my opinion. Billybob

Theres a lot of snow here in Cedar Rapids, Ia too. Thanks for the comments - I'm thinking electronic ignition is the way to go. Theres not too many good things to say about points.

Dave, I posted the original question that "the red" is talking about . If you go to the Parts and Supply section and go to the GENESSEE ad, they have a section that shows the installation and answers questions. I just got a letter from them today telling me that I can buy their product at my local Case-IH dealer.I plan on installing one on my old "H" .
