Quick rim question

Hello all,

just need a quick bit of advice... will the 12-38 Rims from a 460 fit on an H? I've got 12-38's on it now. Just curious because I need a new RH side rim and found someone on craigs with two rims from a 460, one with a good tire and one bare for 250...

No! A different style of rims and cast wheel from a
H to a 460.

Rim designs changed mid-way thru the 300 tractor series from drop center rims (what you need) to double bevel rims modern style).

I just went thru this learning process myself. Rims from an A/B/G JD will fit. It is not a case of brand, it is drop center vs. double-bevel. Deere switched in the early 50's when they went to number series, IH switched sometime IN their first number series.
