antique IHC spark plug question

Anyone know if there is a anybody who sells old Champion IHC spark plugs?

We bought 3 from a junkyard out of a 10-20... AND THEY WORK! So we'd like to find one more (OR even a reproduction plug that we could "age" to make it look old).

SD Pete,

Thanks. Again... will do some checking next week.

Would have loved to go to RPRU (maybe someday).

OK, Billy... but please don't make a special trip - only if you are going there for some other reason. Thanks. (Husband will likely ask for a photo, as he wants one exactly like these three.)

Just a thought..
You might post down in the Stationary Engine section of this forum. A lot of the old one cylinder engines used a plug similar to those.. good hunting I'm sure their out there.

Champion made reproductions of these plugs like in the early 70s. The local NAPA had them. You may find some in the back of an old store. Car shows and flee bay too.

jeffcat,

Thanks... good to know reproductions were made at some point (maybe these that we got at the junkyard are reproductions from the 70's).

But seems a higher chance of finding one since they were reproduced.

Contacted the guys wife. She said he is no longer able handle things. So they sold off his collection. From what I hear it was a good one.

Hi Sweet. Does your plugs have the number 44 on them with the double contacts and are they are a two piece plug? I have three of them. Text me at (330) 844-0006. Paul

460 Paul,

Are you able to post photos?

They are a two piece plug... I don't think there is a 44 on them, unless it is below the metal collar.

I will ask husband if he can get them apart so I can look - then will post back here or text you.
Thanks.

RedJoe,

on the back it says 1 COM... might be something else too, will look later today (or take a pic) and post back here.

Thanks.

Sweetfeet, if you still have my email, drop me a note. I think I can hook you up with someone who specializes in NOS and good used antique spark plugs. I also may have a few in stock.
