56 series bar grille

Hey, is the 56 series bar grille polished, painted, or plated from the factory?

I've got one that's a little rusty.

If it's just a "little rusted", use a sos pad and then wax 'er up. I think they were originally plated.

mkirsh, Picked up one for my 656 LP it appeared to have the Gray, Hammered Aluminum, finish on it, so I carried it to my local Power Coater and had it coated in a Silver/Gray that appeared to be close to the original finish. I sure do like it. Had the Screen behind it Coated... Flat Black too at the same time,, It looks sharp!
IMO there were some models that had Bright-work, Chrome finishes too. So pick your favorite flavor and Go-with-It! Hope this helps!

I believe they were plated.More 'annodized' than
chrome
