McCormick Deering 10-20 Question

I am in the process of restoring an 1929 McCormick Deering 10-20. It is almost completed, but I have a question on the proper oil level of the transmission-diff. case. There is what appears to be a check or level plug on the rear of the main case about in-line with the draw bar. Can anyone tell me if this is the correct plug for checking the main case oil level?

Thanks Kirk, that plug was the only likely check
spot I found on the entire case.

If I remember right, you need a little over 6 gallons of gear oil.
