Rebuilding a F-20 and the machine shop turned my crank down .020. Having trouble finding bearings. Part# 10908DBX. I think I'm learning the hard way. Does anyone have any suggestions?

kind of the backwards way to do it. need to find the brgs. or whats available first and then grind to match brgs. can try tom underwood, or webers. dont have the #'s at the moment.

Yea, wish I had been a little more on top of this project. I guess a few to many irons in the fire.

I think there are rebabbiting places that can redo your old bearings. But I don't know who. Maybe somebody else will know.

Expensive, but . . . contact chrome-a-shaft. They used to be able to build-up and re-cut cranks. They could also chrome the crank to just about any spec.

Paul's Rod & Bearing 816-587-4747 He does excellent work. Send your old rods, shim pack & old insert bearings. Give him the exact measurement on your rod journals. You have already spent the money to have the crank reground.

This Gentleman always amazes me in what he has for F12, F14, F20, 10-20,15-30,W-40 and other related IH tractors of this vintage.

Give him a try if you like.

I gave him a call and had a great conversation. He gave me a number to a guy practically in my backyard that will probably be able to help me out. Thanks to everyone for the input. This forum is so helpful.

Here are two places that can rebabbit your old inserts or if you send them the rods and crank measurements they can make new bearings for you. These two places do good work reasonably priced. H&J Machine in Carrington, ND 701-652-3299 Harkin Machine in Watertown, SD 605-886-7880 Hope this helps, good luck.
